Privacy Policy
Vinkelvolt
Vinkelvolt is an iOS puzzle platformer. The app does not use accounts, ads, tracking SDKs, or push notifications. It sends a few aggregate gameplay events to a developer-operated analytics service.
Scope
This Privacy Policy describes how the Vinkelvolt iOS app handles information. It is based on the app code reviewed for this site, including its local progress storage, audio settings, bundled level files, bundled audio, and app configuration.
Effective date: August 5, 2026.
Limited Analytics Data
Vinkelvolt records three kinds of events: when the app launches, when a level is completed, and when all stars are earned on a level. Before transmission, the app combines these events into counts grouped by event and UTC calendar day.
The analytics payload contains those aggregate counts, the iOS platform name, the app version and build number, and a random delivery batch ID. It does not contain a name, email address, account, advertising identifier, device identifier, location, gameplay save, preference, or other information intended to identify a person or device.
The developer uses these counts only to understand general app usage and level completion. The data is not used for advertising, marketing, profiling, resale, or tracking across apps or websites, and it is not linked to a user or device.
Data We Do Not Collect
Vinkelvolt does not use account registration, advertising trackers, third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, tracking permission, or push notification tracking. The app does not send your locally stored level progress, star totals, audio preference, contacts, photos, messages, or precise or coarse location to the developer.
Information Stored Locally
Vinkelvolt stores only the information needed to provide game progress and audio settings on your device using iOS local storage.
Network, Ads, and Analytics
Vinkelvolt sends the limited analytics described above over HTTPS to a service operated by the developer. The app does not include ads, third-party analytics SDKs, tracking SDKs, or account sign-in code.
Device Backups
Information stored locally by Vinkelvolt may be included in Apple device backups or Apple-provided transfer, restore, or sync features depending on your iOS and iCloud settings. Apple handles those services under Apple's own privacy terms.
Retention and Deletion
Vinkelvolt keeps local progress and audio settings until the app updates them, you reset them through any available app or system controls, or you delete the app from your device. Deleting the app removes the app's local storage from the device under normal iOS behavior.
Pending analytics counts are stored locally until they can be delivered. Aggregate analytics counts may be retained by the developer for historical product analysis. Because the analytics are not associated with an account, person, or device, there is no user-specific analytics record to retrieve or delete.
Security
Vinkelvolt relies on Apple platform storage for its local app data and uses HTTPS when sending aggregate analytics. No storage or transmission method is perfect, so you should protect your device with a passcode, Face ID, Touch ID, and current iOS updates.
Changes to This Policy
If Vinkelvolt's privacy practices change, this page will be updated with a new effective date. App Store privacy disclosures should also be kept consistent with the app version then available.
